A place to call Home...

Yup... as per title... We're currently searching for a house near uni. A place where we could return to after a tiring day of lectures. A place where we could have our showers without other people in the same bathroom(not cubicle, just bathroom XD). A place where we could do our business without having other people doing it too beside us. A place where we could keep our cooking utensils in the kitchen instead of our bedrooms. A place where we could make whatever noise we want without having someone walking out of his bedroom to glare at us(No, Jon, not talking about u XP). A place where we could study in peace without having music or electric guitars blasting through the paper thin walls. A place where we could walk or sit around in undies... if we want to. A place where we could call Home instead of Halls.

I must say, Celine did most of the searching and stuff. Thanks~ Love ya! *hug* And thanks V for driving us around all the time for inspections. I don't know how many dinners we owe you now. Haha, Celine is gonna bake u a cake! Whee to that. So well... basically, we inspected like... 6 houses? Or could be more. I'll write a chronology of it. XP Haha... For memory sake. It is my first time doing this kind of stuff.... one more step towards independence. Although i still have much much more to learn. Mada mada dane... *Ryoma's style* XP

House #1 : 5 bedrooms, big backyard with cacated fence, not furnished(total turnoff), creepy toilets(cracks everywhere), oven that says HELP on it(what the?), a scarecrow(??), etc...

House #2 : Run down... I don't even wanna talk about it. =.= Omg.... the paint was like... ugh... and the place is all wooden and ancient, dark and creepy lightings, small(seriously). Overall, ugh.

House #3 : I didn't inspect this one because i had lectures. But from what i've heard and the video i watched. It's huuuuge! And pink!!! Carpeted(pink as well!).... but one major turnoff... it's huge but empty. Not furnished!!! Damn! Or we would have totally jump on the deal.

House #4 : Yup... this one we are still seriously considering about it. Because it's a rooming agent thingy. Means we don't have to worry about electricity bills and stuff because it's all included in the rent. Which is reasonably cheap. But.... the thing is, we don't really like the house. If you can call it a house. It doesn't even have a living room to begin with. And the rooms are pretty small. PLUS, there would be a random guy from Hong Kong who is going to continue staying there for one sem next year. @_@ I don't want a random guy in the house... However, i must say the location is not bad, it's near to uni.

House #5 : Erm... I personally like the house because it's.... a house. Compared to #4 and duh #2. And it's quite spacious too. But.... it smells. @_@ Maybe it's the people there. They are... guys. LoL Yeah, so... it smells and they didn't really maintain the house. A mess. And it's way to far to walk to uni... so out of the question.

House #6 : Yay-ness!!! We went just now... and everyone was pretty satisfied with it. Everyone as in me, Celine, Sharon and Jia Chee(saw the pics only thou) who are moving in together. Stan and Tsan didn't like it because... I don't know. Maybe because it's not furnished. But the tenant said she would sell us her furnitures second hand but can't tell us the exact prices yet. The kitchen is massive!! XD Jia chee loves it! Oh wait... we all love it! In my opinion, the kitchen is the best part of the house.... although i saw a baby cockroach crawled past me. ^_^ll Oh well, i'm sure the insect people can deal with that. BUT we have a problem despite everything. We would have to pay the rent for Dec and Jan even though we won't be here except Jia Chee. It's going to be $900 for that period... @_@ That's a huge sum of money but most of us have no problem with it so i guess.... Besides that, we need to be more conservative with the usage of gas and electricity since it's not included in the rent. Well, need to sleep on it a bit.

So well... it came down to two choices. #4 and #6. We had this long discussion in Sha's room. It's an important decision because the place's gonna be our home for the whole year next year. We can't really move into a house we don't like. But then we have to consider the money matter as well. One other thing... the #6 house is nearer to Tsan and Zati's place! XD Bonus!! And 15 mins from Uni and 10 mins from Clayton town. Not bad at all. Honestly, we are obviously bias to the #6 but... yeah... sleep on it sleep on it...

I wanna post pics of the houses but... they're not with me... lazy lah. Maybe later lah. Gonna have a floor function later. Dinner at Sophia's and then down to Glen Waverly for Hairspray. XD Speaking of movie... Jie Yen urged me to watch 'Secret' by Jay Chou. She was telling me how good how good it was. Haha~ XD And yeah, she's not the only one. So yup... gonna watch it once i get it.

No pics for this post... Booooring post. I'm gonna update with more stuff later. About GFN and MCAC haha.... interesting~ XDD But now... i'm too tired to function. Hopefully i won't fall asleep later in the cinema.

One more thing before i pen off. Jon is leaving Aus soooooon.... T_T Although we could always meet each other back in malaysia. But... ya know, things happen. I made promises to always keep in touch with so many friends throughout my life but it never turn out so for some. As the chinese saying goes, you'll need two palms to clap. But then i'm more mature now... i'm not gonna go 'damn... haven't seen for so long, i'm shy lah' or 'she/he didn't call me for so long... maybe i shouldn't call her/him', etc. XD So yeah...

Ok... fullstop. Or i'm going to be ready for the dinner. Ciaoz~
